This is, again, a painting of an World of Warcraft character and a birthday present for a very dear friend.
This time it's a bloodelf huntress right in her business - hunting Amani trolls.
It took me 4 tries to get the lineart done, which is finally a composition of 3 different pictures.
As usual I got lost in the details of the trees before I even got a first drop of color in the elf. Then I started struggling to get her brighter or darker than the background... I chose darker, and I was close to throw it away when I started to color the scaled armour in a bottle green.
Now I must say - I'm very very happy about the greens of her armour. I tried to create a view at the character against the light.
